Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions are available for collection within 48 hours of requesting them except on weekends, bank & local holidays.

They can be requested:

1.  Online - via our online prescription ordering service. Please ask at reception for your PIN number to use our online services.

2.  In person - coming into the practice and filling out a repeat prescription form and placing it in our prescription box located by the main entrance, or ticking box on right hand side of prescription and putting in prescription box 

3.  Via your usual Pharmacy if you are Housebound

4.  Post - please include SAE.

5.  Fax - on 01902 308829

The Practice does not wish to offend patients, so please do not ask Receptionists for names of medications or expect them to find your medication on computer system - they are not clinicians. You should have the name of all medications issued as repeat prescriptions - if you are not sure, then please contact your Pharmacy who will be happy to assist you. Patients should bring all names of medications with them prior to ordering.

Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions

Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).

The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines.  Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.

Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. If not received after 48 hours, or any other queries with your prescription, please telephone the surgery.
